Feast of Kadosh starts 2024 Year
The Valley of Houston starts 2024 with the Feast of Kadosh Thursday, January 25th. This Feast celebrates the origin of the Poor Fellow Soldiers of Christ – known as the Knights Templar – and the chivalric traits of liberty, fraternity, and equality.

This year’s Feast of Kadosh will be conducted under the leadership of Right Worshipful H Bart Henderson, 33° Inspector General Honorary and current Deputy Grand Master of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas. 

RW Henderson joins a new list of officers serving the Valley of Houston in 2024.  Michael S Prejean, 32° Knights Commander Court of Honor will serve as Venerable Master of the San Jacinto Lodge of Perfection, Houston Chapter Rose Croix Wise Master Steven W Seymour, 32° KCCH, and Houston Consistory Master of Kadosh John G Kempf, III also 32° KCCH.

The Valley Scottish Rite Benevolent Association of Houston Board members serving in 2024 are led by Personal Representative for the Valley of Houston Brian R Dodson, 33° Inspector General Honorary, and Past Grand Master of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas.  Trustees completing their terms in 2024 include Michael S Prejean (mentioned above), Seth D Hudson and Donnie G Lopez, both 32° KCCH; Allan R Lazer, Gary N Martin, and Joseph A Taylor, all 33° IGH; Christopher W Jones and Paul E Wunsche (33° IGHs), and Matthew P White 32° KCCH.

Indeed, the Valley of Houston Scottish Rite of the Orient of Texas is in good hands for the coming year.

The Board of Directors, mentioned above, will meet in the Board Room at 6 p.m. on the 25th.  The Feast of Kadosh will start at 7 p.m.

Please note Feast of Kadosh ($25) ticket, 2024 Dues payments, and Per Capita funding can be paid via the links below.  Those wishing for Vegan dishes at the Feast are asked to let the Valley know in advance by calling 713.432.1980 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. through the morning of the Feast.

Dues for the 2024 calendar year are due now.  Per Capita dues of $35 are charged to the Valley by the Supreme Council yearly for Endowed and Life Members of the Valley.  The Valley yearly asked for donations from those members who may be willing and able to help offset these expenses.
