| Houston Scottish Rite Valley stated meetings resume on Thursday, September 24, 2020.At a recent meeting of the leadership of the Valleys in the Orient of Texas, S.G.I.G. Michael L. Wiggins, 33°, has given permission for the Valleys to meet with strict adherence to the guidelines below agreed to by the Valleys in Texas.No meal will be served prior to the Stated Meeting. The Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. in the Board meeting prior to the stated meeting. Social distancing will be observed throughout the event.Upon entering the building, you will have your temperature taken. Please do not leave the front lobby until you have gone through this process. You must wear you mask over your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building. If you are not feeling 100%, please stay home for the health and safety of your Brethren. Meeting Guidelines for the Valleys of Texas The following guidelines were proposed by the SGIG and agreed to by all in attendanceCOVID-19 Procedures for all In-Person Activities.Note This is TO BE IMPLEMENTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICEAt entrance to building, all people must be screened as follows:Health ScreenTemperature CheckFlu-like symptomsFeeling poorlyWaiting on COVID-19 test resultsRecent contact with suspected or positive COVID-19 personalRecent travel out of the areaRegister: Legible name and contact number to allow for contact tracing if necessaryOn EntryHand washing / hand sanitizer used by allFacial masks required at ALL timesSocial distancing at all times (minimum of six feet)Meetings & Meeting SpacesNo food or meals allowed in any form including catered or brought in from outside or food prepared, served, or eaten in the buildingSeating must be arranged so that social distancing can be maintained including officers and attendeesClean equipment such as microphones, podiums, etc. between useAll meetings spaces must be cleaned and sanitized after the meeting – – -Please make yourself familiar with the above mandated guidelines before attending stated meeting throughout this pandemic period.
