• Park Place Lodge 1172 presents the Community Builder Award to Raymond Garivey, Jr, Jamaica Beach Chief of Police, tonight. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.  The presentation will follow at the lodge, located at 6820 Tipperary Ln, Houston 77061.
• Valley of Houston, Scottish Rite Knights of St. Andrew host an open invitation to fellow freemasons and guests to a Men’s Health Symposium with Vaccination Campaign Thursday, August 22, 2024 between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. at the Valley, located at 2401 W Bellfort Ave, Houston 770554.  Learn about men’s health and relevant conditions to watch for.  A panel of Physicians will speak about topics of general medicine, ophthalmology, urology, etc., from 7 until 8 p.m.  Available Immunizations (5 – 6:45 p.m.):  Covid, Flu, Shingles, RSV, Pneumonia.
• Committee On Education, Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas holds its second Officer Leadership Training in Lubbock at the Lubbock Scottish Rite Temple, located at 1101 70th St, Lubbock 79412 Friday and Saturday, August 23 - 24, 2024. Registration begins Friday at 4 p.m.  Dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m.  Activities end by 9:30 p.m.  Saturday:  Breakfast 7 a.m., Sessions start 7:45 a.m., Lunch 1 – 1:30 p.m., Certificate presentations 2 – 2:30 pm.  OLT 101 (Junior Warden), 201 (Senior Warden), and 301 (Worshipful Master, PM, MM seeking additional light), Friday and Saturday meals included in $250 Registration Fee
• Galena Park Lodge 1290 presents Brother James M Roy with the 60 - Year Service Award Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the lodge, locate at 603 Baca St, Houston 77013. Brother Roy was the 75th Worshipful Master of the lodge in 2019.  He is a Golden Trowel recipient and 50 – year member of the Houston Scottish Rite and Arabia Shrine.  A MM Lodge will be opened at 11 a.m.  Presentation begins at 11:30.  A BBQ lunch follows the ceremony.
• District 30 MSWA Stated Meeting will be held at Reagan Lodge 1037 Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Dinner begins at 6:15 p.m.  Meeting starts at seven at the lodge, located at 1606 Heights Blvd, Houston 77008. 
• Holland Lodge 1 hosts its 4th Annual Festive Board at the Houston Arabia Shrine Center Saturday, August 31, 2024. • West University Lodge 1292 hosts a Blood Drive on Saturday, September 7, 2024 between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the lodge, located at 6125 Edloe St, Houston 77005. Schedule an appointment at 281-691-1208.  Refreshments provided to all donors.  Picture ID Required.
• The Valley of Houston Scottish Rite will confer all 29 Degrees of the Scottish Rite at its 419th Reunion beginning on Saturday, September 26, 2024 at the Valle, located at 2401 West Bellfort Ave, Houston 77054. Sessions two and three will be held on October 19th and 26th.  Please go to the Valley of Houston Scottish website and download petitions.  Each session begins with Sign In and Breakfast at 8 a.m. and concludes around 9:30 p.m.  Those unable to attend all three sessions will receive Terminal Degrees 4, 14, 18, 30, and 32 on the final day of the Reunion.
